Title: Stacking chases on a single playback?
Post by: bennyj4525 on May 16, 2013, 03:16:21 PM
Hey guys

So from what I can tell so far from using Cue Lux, it's not possible to stack multiple chases
on a single playback fader or button? So say I create 3 different intensity chases for the same
group of fixutres that will require 3 seprerate playbacks?

I find this quite limiting and annoying when operating multiple effects on multiple fixtures.

Can anyone shed some more light (no pun intended  ;) ) on this topic?

Cheers!

yes you can create stack very easily.
First step if your cuelist are oin fader put the fader to the value you want tto be recorded.
Then click on stack on the right side, click on all the playbutton assigned to the cuelist you want to record in your stack list.
To finish you just need to click reocord once and then on the playback button where you want to record your stack!
Now when you start your stack all the cuelist recorded inside start at the same time, and the same when you stop!

Late reply sorry I forgot about this thread,

I understand how to create stacks as you said to trigger multiple playbacks but I'm referring
to multiple "chases' recorded individually as cue's as you would on
say a hog.

So for example:

Cue 1: Mover On
Cue 2: Mover Strobe
Cue 3: Mover Fast Chase
Cue 4: Mover Slow Chase

All on a single playback. I hope I have explained myself a bit better?

Thanks for you time.

Cheers.

in a stack you can put mulktiple cues, but you can also put only on cue...
SO the way to record is the same but you just click on one cue for each step of your stacklist...
