Don't use the basic midi maps. Make you own midi map so you can setup how you would like it yourself.
Select the device under options -> communication and for map1 and map2 select none
Now write youre own mapping under memorie -> action and then add midi action for each button slider which you want to use.

If you use the standard midi map both devices will be set to the same channels and so they will have the same function.

hello stockkie,

that looks complicate. all functions should be the same on both controllers, the only difference
should be the simultaneous using.  controller 2 > Bank1 (Fog), Controller 1 all other(Light).

maybe you can adjust the midi map xml in the midimaps directory.
Open it in wordpad and see if you can adjust it yourway. Save it and start cueluxpro

No experience with this but it should work it think
Good luck

Hello ,

If cuelux pro at all, support a request from a second midi Controller in
a different Bank as the main Controller?
Example: Main Controller is active at bank2, cuelux Shows bank2. i move the slider from
rhe second Controller in/as bank1. Did that work?

Thats the question?

Hello Jedi,

It should be possible to use 2 different MIDI devices simultaneously with CueluxPro. The easiest way is via Show Control. There, you can have multiple MIDI sources, listening to different MIDI devices (you have to set an identifier for the source, allowing you to select different devices). So, even if there is overlap between the channel indexes of the different devices, there should not be a conflict between them.
Hope this helps,
Best regards,

Jurrien

Hello Jurien,

to avoid a misunterstanding, i want to use a behringer bcf2000 and a Behringer x-Touch compact with the same funktions,
but in different Banks. The bcf shall only aktive in Bank1 (Fog Machines). The X-touch all or the rest.. BCF shall the fog Controller be!
Currently both Controllers works only in the same bank, not in different.

You need to edit your beringher midimap ( and save it into the user folder) changing the midi fader control buy the fader grip function and an index saying witch fader you want to control (the index should be written in hexa!)
This way what ever is the bank shown on the cuelux screen your bcf will always control the bank you choose in the midimap file...
good luck! ;)
