Title: Actions - Cue and Chaser on the same fader
Post by: comviqu on April 19, 2017, 07:03:52 PM
Hi,

I tried to to the following: Cue on fader in combination with a chaser on a button. The chaser on the button should start with fader up and shold sto/release with fader down.
In actions I found the "on move" "on up" and on down" but it didnt work, Only the "on move" works .

How could I combine that in the best way?

Cuelux Pro 1.4.21 on Windows

Hello @ comviqu,

If I am understanding you right, you want to control the starting and the stoping of a playback with a fader? If so you have to enable fader start in the playback properties next to the speed, attack, FX rate faders.

Best regards,

Michael

No, that was not my question.

I would like to have the kind of stack (cuelux standard) to start different cuelists, chaser simultanously using a fader.
The chaser for exaple should start with fader up, and should stop with fader down.

Hello @ comviqu,

You can start multiple playbacks (each playback having a different chase), with your fader if that is something that could work for you? But stacks is not a feature in CueluxPro.

Best regards,

Michael.

That should be possible with the actions:
Start diferent cues and chaser with the same fader. For example:
How do I set the action  in the correct way:

Fader 1.1 Cue 01
Button 3.2 chaser 10
Fader 2.7 Cue 02

I want to trigger all above with one sigle fader 5.8 The chaser 10 should start with fader 5.8 up and be released with fader 5.8 down.
Ho do I set the actions in the correct way. I tried it. But it is working only that the chaser starts by moving the fader 5.8 but never releasing when fader 5.8 goes down/off.

Hello @ comviqu,

What you can do, is control the faders of 1.1, 3.2 and 2.7 with the fader 5.8; and if you set the fader start for the playbacks you want to release on intensity 0.

I have created a sample show file (that you can find in the attachment) for you to take a look and get some inspiration.

I hope this is what you meant.

Kind regards,

Michael.

Hi i have an similar Problem,
I want to Control the fx-Speed of a cue with the fader.
Example:
Fader 1.1 Fx-Speed
Button or Fader X.X (cue with movement)
I want to Start the Cue with the Fx Speed fader and stop it with the fx Speed fader is on Zero. If i link the 2faders like in the example it controls the Size + Speed At the Same Time. But i want just Control the fx Speed.

Hello @ Simon90,

What you want to do is instead of controlling the Speed to control the FX Rate. I have created a sample show file for you to get some inspiration. In the example fader two Controls the FX Rate.

Greetings,

Michael.

Thank you Michael for your fast reply but thats not what iam searching. FX-Speed fader = "0"; if you now slide up the FX-Speed Fader it should Start the Cue and you can control the FX-Speed of the Cue. If you now slide the Fader to "0" it stops the Cue
