Title: Cuecore2 not found in vMangager 1.4.51 or web interface
Post by: voodoodan on February 11, 2020, 06:53:47 AM
I installed a CoreCue2 in a theme park in Dec 2019 that was configured to receive DMX and send OSC and was working fine, but I returned 2 months later to find it offline.
It now does not appear in vManager 1.4.51 or web interface.   A 3 sec reset to factory default & power cycles did not seem to change anything.
It is currently blinking white for static IP and connected in peer to peer mode with 2 green LED at the ethernet port.
Thunderbolt Ethernet shows its connected at IP: 192,168,1.12, Subnet 255.255.255.0   About menu in vManager correctly show its local IP as 192,168.1.12, but Corecue2 does not connect via a web browser at 192.168.1.10.  vManager is running in Mac OS Catalina- 10.15.3
Thoughts anyone?

Small followup- This Corecue2 unit also did not appear in vManager for WIN10.
A 2nd functioning Corecue unit was tested and appeared normally in vManager, and I noticed that its 2 green rx/tx LED on the ethernet port were flashing.
The Corecue unit that does not appear had non-flashing, solid green rx/tx LED...

Hello Voodoodan,

Could you try to power cycle the device.
Then press and hold the reset button for at least 5 seconds. (The main system led should start to flash fast.)
This should reset all network related settings.
Now please reconnect the network. And try to connect.

If both network leds stay solid green and do not start to blink. There may be a hardware failure.
You can send to the store where you purchased it. And they can send it to us to be repaired.

If you send it please add a note with your contact details and the problem description.

Best regards,
Guido
