Title: Rayzr MC200
Post by: riekssoepenberg on December 16, 2021, 10:58:31 PM
Hello,

I need a file for the Rayzr MC200 light for Cuety. It will probably work for alle the MC panels.
Thank you in advance,

Rieks

Thank you for using cuety. sadly this fixtures seems really not fitting to cuety capacities.
I will not be able to create a fixture file with all the modes as channel numbers and channel use are always changing.
The best I can do is exceptionally creating a custom fixture file just for you if you tell me which mode you would like to use.

Thanks for your super fast reply and your offer. That would still help me greatly.

I was already a bit afraid that it would be too much. So, directly on the fixture I tend to use the HSI mode most of the time. However, would that work well in Cuety? Or is a RGBDT mode better for the workflow within the software?

Please find your fixture file included,
I did my best to fit the modes you needed into the cuety faders.
For HSI mode, you need to set the fixture to HSI mode using the gobo fader, 40-49 dmx value is  16-19%
Dim curve is on second custom fader,
Intensity is ont intensity,
Hue is on color fader
and saturation on first custom fader
For RGBDT mode, you need to set the fixture to RGBDT mode using the gobo fader, 50-59 dmx value is  20-23%
Dim curve is on second custom fader,
Intensity is ont intensity,
RGB are RGB faders
Daylight and tungsten are on white and amber faders.

Enjoy ;)

Just tested the file. Somehow daylight is on amber and tungsten on white. Is there a way I can fix this? For the rest it works good!

One other question regarding multiple custom fixtures.
Can there be only one personality file on the ipad? So every time you add a new different custom fixture profile, this will be added to your personality file? Or can I add multiple personality files for each custom to the ipad. Should I use different names then?

For the white color switch i would bé able to do it for you on monday. If you want to do it by yourself you Can open thé fixture file with a text editor and you will see 4 lines of numbers. (One for each mode).
In 8bits modes you will see 0708 séquence, juste replace it by 0807.
In 16 bits modes you will see 07270828 sequence, change it to 08280727 .
About the fact that you get a new custom file for each fixture request, the only solution is to merge the files. I  can do it for you later or you can have a look at this video to be able to do it yourself.

Good luck

Hi Julian,

Can you make a file for this fixture for Cuelux pro as well? Using the info above?

Thanks a lot,

Rieks
