Ok I  have problems with my Macbook Unibody Snow Leopard 10.6.3
1.
The screen resolution is bad for me... I have 1280x800 but my Dock overlaps the cuelux skin.
In Full Screen  i cannot change my Exposé btw. Spaces with cmd+< or >  but I will use cuelux in the background as second program together with my DJ Software and Midiconsole

2.
The cues can I stop with one touch on "1" and stop push longer on "1"  hmm I think this is not practicable
One touch = play than second touch stop the cue

3.
In the cuelist would i change for example the Name of the cue. I must push on this field and than on "change"
I want a double click on "Name" to change this without a touchscreen

4. German Keyboard -> QWERTZ not QWERTY  on "Y" is Channel 6

5. Sound Tab  via intern Micro or Line in

hi Beezer

1. I know that issue, I've got it as well on my macbook. I do use full-screen a lot. Or you could auto-hide your dock, or move it to the left or right side of the screen.

2. Actually it does 'Go' on a short touch and a 'Release' on a long touch. I do think this is quite practical for stepping hrough multi-cue cuelists.

3. I considered doing this to save you some time, but the disadvantage is that it is not uniform to changing the other parameters, so it might be confusing. I will have a look again, see what i can do.

4. Thanks for letting me know.

5. Yes, this is nice feature is on my todo list.

regards!
Maarten

Hi Maarten

1. yes I can hide the dock, but my problem is i can´t change on a second screen ("spaces") if I use full screen mode.

Do you know? I can work on different "spaces" and I will use 1 = Dj Software / 2 = Cuelux  an I can change this "spaces" with keyboard shortcuts

I have a 13" Macbook and all screen resolutions are bad for me. -> height and width don t vote

I've also got a wish for the next version:

Could it be possible to put in a warning when pressing the "delete"-button.
something like "are you sure to delete the cue XY?"
In the last time it often happenend to me that i got the wrong button and suddenly the cue was deleted =)

and one thing more:
is it possible to change the cue wizard so its also possible to edit shapes etc?
would save time, cause i need some more shapes than circle, square and random.

would be nice if you can change that.
thx alot.

greetings johannes

I guess it's not a big deal to make a pop-up for that, but [Undo] will also get your cue back ;)

So you want something like a shape-generator.. What kind of shapes are you missing?

Hi maarten,

I use Cuelux and the launchpad, both works great, but:

1 x short press => Start the Cue
1 x short press => Stops the cue

Would it not be better if:

1 x short press => Start the Cue
1 x short press again => Nexter step in the cue
1x short press and simultaneously press another key => Stop the cue

Sorry for my bad english

The problem is that the Cue appears again in the list when you have a look in "cues".
But the problem is that all steps are empty and so it's helpless.
If [Undo] works I can live without a "popup" when trying to delete something.

I need a general shape-generator so that I can "draw" every possible shape as a polygon of many definable points.
I need them for example in a "tracking" at a theatre show, when a actor has a defined way I can save in a cue.

Why don´t you just create a cuelist for that? :)

A vector based shape generator would be pretty cool as a future feature.

Rick's right though, for now, the workaround is via cuelist.

hi Max,

it actually should works like this:
1 x short press => Start the Cue
1 x short press => go to the next the Cue
1 x long press => Stops the cue

This is how the cuelux GUI works itself, I think it better to have the MIDI units working in the same way. Just to be consistent.
