Hi Guys. I think it would be really good to see what hardware midi controllers and setups people have. Also what people are doing with CuxLux and which fixtures they are using, etc. I am a newbie using CueLux so the forums have been really helpful. I think seeing what others are up to would help me with inspiration for programming and certainly would help with deciding on a midi controller. Please comment if you think this is a good idea.

Thanks,
Adam

hi Adam,

Sounds great to me. I would welcome everybody to post a little explanation on their setup.

I was thinking of writing some reviews on the midi control surfaces myself, seeing we have quite a few lying around here in the office for testing the midimaps. But I am not sure when I will find the tie for it.

Thanks Maarten. I will order a Novation Launchpad and write a setup review. I play keyboards in our function band so I need a really easy way to toggle pre-programmed cues. The launchpads sixty odd buttons look good for this.

Our setup consists of 6 Martin Mac 250 Krypton moving heads and a forum member is working on some Cues for us as I just don't have the time at the moment. What I am going to do is take some videos of our rig in action working with CueLux to help others.

I think it would also be a great idea to exchange program files, would this be of interest to anyone? I know we all have different setups but if we can start a small catalogue of cues which people can load to run lights (especially moving fixtures) that might be helpful so we can modify them?

hey guys,

i´ve also bought Cuelux because it seems very easy and clear...before it i used DMXControl...(there are more funktions but it isn´t so clearly arranged like Cuelux)
For the future i would like for example a time-line editor or the funktion to controll the playback buttons with my BCF-2000 and to add more bcf-2000....

here is my setup

3x Glp junior scan 3
2x Futurelight dj-scan 300
(in september 4 Eurolite pix-24 rgb will follow)
1x Eurolite superstrobe 2700 dmx
...moreover some 500W blinder, colorchanger, dimmer and a little truss setup

I think for the age of 18 it is okay...i´ve no job and i still go to school

greetings from Germany (frankfurt)(and sorry for my english)
Pascal :)

Hi Pascal

Your English is very good, do not apologize please!

Your setup sounds great!  As you come from Frankfurt did you visit us and see Cuelux during Prolight+Sound earlier this year?  Make sure you come by and say hello in 2011 during the show!
