Jeroen sent me this file for using two Behringer BCF-2000 together with Cuelux. I have not tried it myself but I did wanted to share this with you all.

Mode for BCF-1 (original Sysex): U-4 (EDIT + press STORE and turn first rotary untill display says U-4, then press EXIT)
Mode for BCF-2 (attached Sysex):  S-3 (EDIT + press STORE and turn first rotary untill display says S-3, then press EXIT)

Attached Midimap ("Behringer BCF-2000 X2")

Connections:
BCF-1 with USB to PC
BCF-1 with MIDI OUT A to BCF-2 MIDI IN
BCF-1 with MIDI IN to BCF-2 MIDI OUT B

After connecting the 2 BCF's as described in the previous post, make sure to upload the original Behringer BCF-2000 Sysex file (in Cuelux/Sysex folder) to the first BCF. Both BCF's will receive the file as they're connected. However, only press STORE twice on the FIRST BCF to store the data!

Then send the second Sysex file, you'll find it in the ZIP file Maarten posted. Only press STORE twice on the SECOND BCF to store the data. Now turn both BCF's off and turn them back on. They'll load the stored presets.

If Cuelux is on Bank 1, the first BCF controls faders 1-8, the second BCF 9-16.

If Cuelux is switched to Bank 2, the first BCF controls faders 9-16, the second BCF controls 17-24.

Hello,

great - thanks for the sysex.
However, there's still a little problem.
When I copy the file "behringer.xml" to the directory "midimaps" and start Cuelux afterwards, it still isn't working.
The same happens when I copy a new fixture file in the directory "personalities" and afterwards I can't find it in the list.
I don't know whether that's a bug or just a mistake in my computer.
As well nothing happens if I e.g. change a midimap and start Cuelux afterwards - quite annoying.

@Maarten: So can you please insert the Midimap for two BCFs in the next release?
would be very nice, cause i'm really keen on using two BCFs.
I've got theatre rehearsals on Sunday, so it would be good, if the release comes soon!

thx, greetings from Germany

hello,
are there any news about a new midi-map for two bcf's? I'm thinking about buying a second one to have more fader to control.

Hi cmacrae,

Therefore, you'll need a huge midimap and you'll need to configure the other BCFs (3-8) manually.
And I can guarantee you; that's a lot of work!

Working perfectly!
Now I had the time to set up the second BCF.
Since the update I haven't discovered bugs yet.

It would be very great if you can implement the midimap for two BCFs in the next version.
For other users it would be useful if the .syx file for both first and second BCF come with the installation, so for example in an own folder "sysex". This is already done for windows, but since I switched over to Mac I'm missing this feature.

Thanks for the great work & greetings from Germany

Bought a second Behringer BCF-2000 yesterday. Works great with two bcf's. More convenience than with one. I'm thinking about buying a third one. Maybe Maarten could have a look at it for a midimap for three bcf's. I have to build a flightcase but for three bcf's the flightcase is a little bit larger than for two. :D

Thank's for the answers.
