Hello, i have just started using the Cuelux software and would like to install a Stairville MH-X50 light. However, there is no driver/option for the light in the program. Where do I go from here? Thanks in advance for the help!

Hi Thomas,

Welcome on our forum :)

If you would like to patch a fixture that is not in Cuelux, you can make a Personality File Request.
Then we will make the file for you so you are able to use your fixture.

My Colleague Rick will create a Personality File for you.

Regards,
Bart

Hi Thomas,

I already 'Googled' for the manual/dmx-chart, but I can find any.
Is it possible for you to provide me the manual/dmx-chart?

When I've got those, I'll create a personality file for you.

Thank you :)

Br,
Rick

Thank you so much. I have uploaded the images from the manual to an album. Here is the link. I would like the file as soon as possible, as I must have the setup programmed by the end of next week. Thanks again.

Great, going to make a new personality right away :)

One question; are we talking about a MH-X50 or MH-X50+?

The manual only says "MH-X50", so I believe that's the one. Thanks

Here's the new personality file :)
Please read the installation instructions: link.

Can you please test this for me?

Thank you!

I'm sure I have done this before but can I just confirm personalities. Reared for Cuelux are compatible with VisualDMX?

I must admit I've bought some of the Stairville gear recently and have been very impressed with it, particularly the TriLED x 7 Panel.
Considering purchasing some MH-X50, how do you find them?

hi Ross,

VisualDMX uses .fxt files
Cuelux uses .xml files

They are not compatible.

Hmm I'm sure I extracted a KAM fixture from Cuelux before and just pasted the contents from one file to another.

In that case I require the above fixture for Visual DMX.

Cheers.

hi Ross,

Cuelux and VisualDMX used to share the .FXT files, that has changed a while ago.

Please find personality file attached, instructions at http://www.visualproductions.nl/forum/index.php?topic=980.0
