Hi Maarten,

Great work! I am now totally happy with the Midi-Feedback on my Ohm64-Controller. Just one tiny small thing: It would be great if Cuelux could send some feedback on startup to make the corresponding bank buttons light up. At the moment I have to switch banks twice to make the correct bank buttons light up.

The first serious thing I noticed: deleting a cuelist crashes Cuelux.

I like the new Background setting, hope to put it in action on the next show ;-)

Could you elaborate a bit more on the use of bundles?

Best,

Ben

On Mac OS X Leopard on start up the last saved show didn't load. When you go to disk  for loading a show there or no files in the list.

hi Tobias,

No we can't set the shape's speed yet; that will be my next job :)
But I have got rid of the tempo divider control, it is now set by the speed fader as well.

I fixing the reported bugs now.... hope to have a new release later today...

v1.03 Beta 2 / WinXp
Problems:
- Cuelux get closed sometimes when deleting fixtures from a group
- No Undo  Function when using Delete Button and Playback Button (last Step from Cuelist get lost)
- you can now create a stack list with the stack menue. But you don't could assign it to a playback button or fader. It work only if you save a stack direct to a button and edit it after that

I like:
- the new release time for cuelists

I dislike:
- Chasers are always fading, if you want a snap chaser you have to remove the chaser mark and edit all the times manual.
- The Time Model of the Cuelist: In the moment you have delay, fade in and fade out time (grafik in the manual)
I would need fade in, step time, fade out time. When you make a snap chase you get that with no fading time and for example a delay of 1 second. But with this you start your chase and have to wait one second until you have light. Normal it must be light on, wait one second, next step.

I tried but don't know how to use this features:
- Bundle setting in Playback, same bundles are mutually exclusive
- Backgournd setting in Playback (startup automatically & ignore releas all)

Could someone explain me how do i get that working?

Hi Erics,

Don't know about the bundle thing either, had already asked the same question.
The Background setting is a great new feature:

You can set cuelists as background lighting that start automatically on startup and are ignored if you release all cues at once, so the background cuelists always stay on.

I like that a lot, as it allows for releasing all cues at the end of a song and have everytihng reset to a defined state without complete darkness. It's so much faster ;-)

Best,

Ben

i can't stop started chases, i miss faderstart and stop

after changing parameter for building a chase,
the delete button don`t push the fader back to zero ??
for example: if i try to bring pan tilt in center/home position, pushing center
cuelux light up the delete function
like there should be a new homeposition out of the center
?

You can set cuelists as background lighting that start automatically on startup and are ignored if you release all cues at once, so the background cuelists always stay on.
I thaught of that. But how do i set a cuelist as backround cuelist?

I miss fader start, too.

@jot
Home Position is not the same as delete. It's to center the pan and tilt. and if you want to safe the center position in a cue you could safe that. So light up delete is normal because you have touched the atribute pan and tilt.

Hi guys,

Background and Fader-Start are in the Playback Settings. Just double-click in the field above the Faders/Playback buttons that shows the cuelist name and levels.

Best,

Ben
