hi,
sorry, i can't read nl, only german or english.

did you look at the other showtec ledpar, maybe they are similar to your fixture?

regards

jot

edit
maybe this works:

fixture "a try LED Par 64 Short RGB"
{
   color red         2   0,255
   color green              3   0,255
   color blue         4   0,255

  custom
        {
            label   "Colour"
            msb     3   0,255
        }

   strobe
   {
      offset          0
      control         1,87
   }
custom
        {
            label   "Modi"
            msb     5   0,87
        }
}

----------------------------------------
close cuelux
open your personality folder
search the showtec.fxt file
open it with a textedit programm
copy and paste the red to the beginning behind
"....."www.highlite.nl"
save it in personality folder without changing the filetype.fxt or name
start cuelux and search for patching
"a try LED Par 64 Short RGB"

good luck

It is not working.

channel 1 and 2 has to be at full.
then with channel 3-> 5 you can chance the colors.
And with channel 2 you can dim it.
and channel 1 from 0 -> 87 is strobe.
and channel 6 has the rainbow things.

hoop to get a working profile soon.

greetings,

ivan

thats poorly all i know for now in that case...

maybe the channels has to be listed from 0 to 5...?

you find the selftitled fixture in the list and the patched lamp didn't worked ?

i don't understand: channel 1(0) and 2(1) has to be full?
channel 1(0) are listed only from 1-87, nothing is written for 88-255...

dimmer channel can be perhaps:

 dimmer
    {
        msb         1   0,255
    }

but i did only try this with my Par56 Led for the missed function on channel 4 and 6
better someone from cuelux help you with more knowledge as to have this in try and error...
think, they are busy....

best

hi Jot,

Please try the attached file, i have named the fixture "LED PAR 64 Short"

I am bit confused whether you will will use it for VisualDMX or Cuelux. So VisualDMX instructions at http://www.visualproductions.nl/forum/index.php?topic=980.0 (ignore the warning at startup) and Cuelux instructions at http://www.visualproductions.nl/forum/index.php?topic=857.0

have fun

Hello Maarten,

there was no attachment. for the Led Par 64 short.
And it is for visualDMX.

and i have another question.
I have a old RS232 dongle with a belkin usb to RS232 converter.
On startup visualdmx will not find my dongle.
I have to go to detect rs232 before it finds the universal.
Is there a solution for this?

Sorry about that, this time I have attached it  :-[

I am afraid there is no easier way for connecting the old RS232 unit.
