Hi Sam,

You can install Cuelux on every pc that you would like.
The only thing that unlocks the software to use it with a visualiser or a real fixture is the DMX dongle.

Kind regards,
Bart

Hi Sam,

There are visualizes available to show what you are doing with Cuelux.
Or you can connect a light to Cuelux that you can control.

Hi Sam,

That is correct.
All you need is the software (here to download) the Cuelux USB adapter (CueCable) and lights to operate.
Optional is a Midi desk.

Bart

What visulizers will work with Cuelux?

I miss the 3D visulisers in Daslight but find Cuelux much better to use, could I use that one?

You can't use the visualiser of Daslight, but you can use any visualiser that has Art-net-support.

For example:
- Capture Polar
- Cast Wysiwyg
- Lightconverse

Am I looking at the right thing here, Cast WYSIWIg has a price on the website of $2499

YES two and a half THOUSAND dollars.

With Daslight you get the 3G preview along with the software for £300

Surley this can't be the only option for  3D rendering with Cuelux?

The other package there is $2000

No one has replied to this post so I can only assume that if you want 3D display you have to spend 8 times the price of the control software to get it.

Why can Cuelux not do a deal with the same company that provides the 3D for Daslight?

hi Rayco,

Both Daslight and their visualizer are made by Sunlight/Nicolaudie, who we are competing with, so it's unlikely that we'll be ever using their visualizer.

BTW Lightconverse starts at $499 (http://lightconverse.net/lc/lc_sell-price.htm).
