Hi,

I have a question.

I test over one hour how to save my first cuelux show, but it dont works.

So can someone explain me how the show could be saved?

I use Windows 7.

Thanks Kerberloni

As written in the user manual, the show is automatically being saved whenever you change anything.

However, to start a new show or save as backup, open the OPTIONS menu and go to the DISK submenu.

Thanks but where can I get the newest manual?

If it's possible in german.

Now I tested it again, but cuelux don't save my shows. I click "Save as" and nothing happens after clicking "save as" again the window close. But after clicking new and than clicking open now show could be load. Where saves cuelux the shows?

Hi Kerberloni,

Please take a look at the German manual on page 12, here is the save function explained.
Please try to save your show file as explained in the manual, if you still experiencing any difficulties, please let me know.

A new German manual will be done within 2 weeks.

Regards,
Bart

Hi Kerberloni,

I see what your problem is.
Could you tell me what version of Cuelux that you are running and what version of Windows?
Also could you send me the last log file that you can find in: C:\Users\[USERNAME]\Documents\Visual Productions\Cuelux\Logs
You can send it to bart [at] visualproductions [dot] nl

This will help me in finding out what could cause this problem.

Regards,
Bart

Hi Kerberloni,

I've got your e-mail and I have found the problem.
In your log file the "Data directory" on row 4 is empty, this should be: C:/Users/[USERNAME]/Documents/Visual Productions/Cuelux.

Could you tell me what other directories are in this "C:/Users/[USERNAME]/Documents/Visual Productions/Cuelux" folder?

Regards,
Bart

Hi Kerberloni,

We are going to try to see if we can reproduce this, with a Windows 7 Starter version.
Meanwhile could you please try downloading and installing Cuelux again?

Bart

Hi Kerberloni,

I just installed Windows 7 Starter in a Virtual machine and tested Cuelux.
Everything looks good to me, everything works as it should.

So please try reinstalling Cuelux to see if that might do the trick.

Bart

one customer get the same kind of problem, when he installed cuelux he did not get any shortcut on the desktop, nothing in the start/programs list, nothing in the uninstall tool, and no visual production directory in the user directory...
But cuelux was working, anyway he uninstalled it and installed it again, ad this time everything was working fine!
