hello,

I am an artist and thinking about buying Cuelux for a new and complex installation.

I am absolutely new in the field of DMX Controlling and I want to be sure that I have selected the right software.

In the piece huge curtains going to be moved by ten windmachines. The DMX controlled ventilators should fade in irregular rhythms and blow wind stronger and weaker. I have to program a one hour show  - adding light, but no music - which runs a whole day in loops. Fading time and  intensity of the wind is changing all the time.

Is Cuelux the right tool?

As I understood from the instruction you can  configurate the devices (Wind machines, Turntables), if they are not in the list.

I am working with a Mac.

Thanks for an answer in advance!

Christine

Hi Christine,

Welcome on our forum :)

Cuelux can do all the things that you describe.
To do so you will have to create a Cuelist from one hour long with various light and fan settings and put it on looping.
If the devices are not in our library, please send us the manual of the device and we will add them to the library.

You can download and try Cuelux here, you can try making cuelists etc.

If you have any further questions, please let me know.

Regards,
Bart

Thanks a lot, Bart!
Trusting you,  I will be soon an owner of Cuelux for my project - and posting again, if I'll have any problems.
(I tried the non cable version already)

To whom shall I send the manuals of the devices, when I know which ones I use?

best

Christine

Hi Christine,

Nice to read that you are going to use Cuelux for your project.
It sounds like a really cool project :)

You may send them to: support [at] visualproductions [dot] nl
Me or one of my colleagues will create the personality files for you.

Regards,
Bart
