In the common Eurolite list there is a WMB-8 in different channel modes.

The 26 channel mode is useful, if you make your own cue, so that different colored units will light, but it is really a pain to program them.

The 5 channel mode can be uses in two way:
1.) RGB with all units having the same color
2.) Build in program, which you don't have implemented.

I find this mode (channel 0 = 251-255) very usefull, because you can get moving light without programming a lot of cues.

I tried to implement it by my own, but it doesn't work, as channel 0 doesn't output the value 255:
Code: [Select]
- <mode label="5 channel auto">
- <part attribute="Parked">
  <range function="On" offset="0">255,255</range>
  </part>
- <part attribute="Colour">
- <slot>
  <colour>CLR_BLACK</colour>
  <range function="On" offset="1">0,10</range>
  </slot>
- <slot>
  <colour>CLR_RED</colour>
  <range function="On" offset="1">11,21</range>
  </slot>
- <slot>
  <colour>CLR_YELLOW</colour>
  <range function="On" offset="1">22,32</range>
  </slot>
  </part>
- <part attribute="Custom" label="Speed">
  <range function="Control MSB" offset="2">0,255</range>
  </part>
- <part attribute="Custom" label="Flash">
  <range function="Control MSB" offset="3">0,255</range>
  </part>
- <part attribute="Custom" label="Color Sort">
  <range function="Control MSB" offset="4">0,255</range>
  </part>
  </mode>

I have input only two fixed programs (as I am lazy).
Could you please help me ?

Best regards
Axel

hi Axel,

Please find the new file attached.

I have made a new mode that enables the build in programs, it was difficult to combine it with the existing 5 channel mode.

Maarten,

thanks for your file, but I have the same problem as at mine:

The value on the first channel (index 0) is always 0, as I can see in the DMX monitor.

Maybe it is a problem of the main Cuelux program.

Regards
Axel

Sorry, sorry, this problem seems to be solved in the Cuelux 1.03.26.

Unfortunately the eurolite.xml from this post is not in the 1.03.26 installation.

Axel

Hi AxelF,

The latest version of Cuelux should contain the latest version of all the personalities we have.

Bart
