I have a problem with fade in and out sequences.

Seems that after the fade in sequence is completed the value of the dimmer is set to zero.
When the dimmer is set to 100% manualy using the fader in the primary screen the fade out and  sequence does not overide this value...

??? what am i doing wrong???

It`s also a visible using the demo 8 yoke`s configuration.

Help would be apreciated..

Hi Arjan,

Welcome on our forum :)

To solve this issue you can loop the sequence, open the sequence editor by selecting the sequence and press "Edit".
In the bottom you see all kinds of tabs. In the fist tab select the loop.
This should solve your issue.

Since the fade is from the "current" value to the maximum value, the dimmer will stay at 100%.
If the fade was made from 0 to 100% it would go back to 0 each loop.

Hi Bart,

thanx for the welcome and the reply.

I`ve tried your suggestion and it seems to work.
But only when the sequence is playing.
But when the sequence is stop the dimmer returns to 0%.

And stil when i set the dimmer in the primary screen to 100%.
The fade out sequence does'nt overide the value of 100% to 0%.
It stays at 100%.

I use V.DMX in theater productions and trigger everything via show control.
And sometimes set dimmer levels via a control board on midi or dmx.
It`s a huge problem for me because my dimmer channels are high priority.

i've tried all fade functions and sequences and i experience it on all.

In previous version i did not have this issue.
I could use the fade sequences while my show was running or when i manualy set the dimmer in the primary screen.

I hope you can investigate.
Or maybe it's usefull to get in touch by phone???
