Hi

I've read and searched all over and still can't find an answer..

I'm triggering notes in Logic, going out as midi, back in to Cuelux - which is flickering red, but nothing is happening. Can someone explain where I'm going wrong?

Say, for triggering the Blackout, I've checked the generic xml map, and have the note going out channel 16, #01, but nothing happens in Cuelux.

Please help! Thanks
DD

Hi Julian. Generic midi map and the correct ports are selected. The midi is working as the red midi light flickers in Cuelux.

Could someone direct me to an explanation of the xml files?

"Channel 15 - Message 1 - Index 1"

- Does this mean midi channel 15, note 1?

Confused..

Also, how does generic.xml and the generic midi map PDF match?

FIXED:

It began to work when I made my own user xml file, ignoring the generic.xml which didn't work.

Learn about the xml code: http://www.visualproductions.nl/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=1609.0;attach=357

yes, I think you found the trick, you have to update the midimap depending of the midi interface you use. The generic midimap is not one working with all the product but just a file with all the midid keyword used by cuelux, to help you to mak eyour own.
I think it should work fine now,
