hi Klaus,

please find the file attached, instructions at http://www.visualproductions.nl/forum/index.php?topic=857.0

I am not sure what the ID channel does, it certainly is not a common feature in lighting fixtures.

.....Channel 7 is used for selecting groups of DMX-adresses.
You can give several devices the same DMX-adress and another set of
devices get the followed up DMX adresses.
If you select both groups of adresses with ch. 7 all devices will do the
same.
If the fader of ch. 7 is slided to a specified Group of adresses only
this set of DMX-adresses will be controlled.

I just found that the new compact par 7 x CW.WW doesn't mention RGB mixing...
and mailed the techdepartement... maybe you could wait with creating a fixture for it, until
all is clear...
no RGB mixing is a no go for me...
I will let you know how it goes

Thanks and sorry for the hassle
best

Hello Klaus,

CW = Cool White
WW = Warm White

There are no RGB leds in this model, not mixing RGB to get a (natural) white is the whole point of this par. If you need RGB then get the Tri model.

Well, the manual they posted on the web and sent to me says 2,4,7 dmx channels, so I waited for their support to clear it up, yes only CW-WWand not 7 dmx channels...
Could you provide a fixture anyway ?
Maybe we will get some for fronts...
Thanks anyway

( we have the 7 tri already and your fixture works as expected, thanks )
