Hi there,
at first - sorry for my bad English, I'm German and I can understand English quite ok, but writing... :(

I'm a new Cuelux user, and so far very happy with the software!!
Before buying the interface, I worked to bring more than one MIDI-Controller to run, and I got it with a small patch in MidiOx and a new Midimap. If anyone is interested, I can likely write a tutorial (perhaps german/english?) and publish my midiox-patch-file and the midimap (I even did a map with 3 controllers, too :) ).
For the virtual MIDI-connections I use MIDI-Yoke, which offers 8 pathes, because I need a separate path for in- and output.
But here comes my (quite small, i know) problem:
I choose "MIDI Yoke 1" as input device, "MIDI Yoke 2" as output device, and my user-midimap. All works fine, till I restart the software. Then only the midimap stays selected, but I have to select the devices again manually. I think they got loaded automatically before I used MIDI-Yoke?
Perhaps the reason is the big amount of MIDI-pathes (>10 with all the controllers)?

I think it's not a very big problem and could be quite easy to fix?

Thank you in advance and again sorry for my bumbling enunciation,
Raphael

hi Raphael,

I think your issue is the same as http://www.visualproductions.nl/forum/index.php?topic=2198.0
In which case, we are still working on a fix.

I hope to give you an update on this soon.

best regards,
Maarten

Hi Maarten,
yes, maybe the issue is similar to the one from the other thread.
But in my case all the other setting like screen resolution, language and the midi_map are re-load correctly.
Perhaps the issue is caused by the colon in the device name (in the options.xml midi_input is "In From MIDI Yoke: 1", midi_output is "Out To MIDI Yoke: 2")?
Thank you for the support!
Kind regards,
Raphael

hi Raphael,

If possible, could you please email your options.txt to support at visualproductions nl?
I would be great to use your file for testing while trying to fix this issue.

thanks,
Maarten
