Actually, the above is not entirely correct:

VisualDMX + USB-devices = 32 bit only
VisualDMX + Art-Net dongle = 32 + 64 bit

Hello Toomas,

Make sure the " Ignore dongles" checkbox is not checked in the options.
Now you can set Art-net as an output device in the Fixture Configuration, just like our other interfaces.

Ive had problems establishing a reliable ArtNet Network since I bought my ENTTEC ODE about a year ago, once its setup it never fails, but I end up having to restart VDMX and sometimes my computer several times before it will recognize the connection and actually send DMX to my fixtures.

Over the holidays I wasnt doing much work and when I came back to after a few weeks I cant get it to establish a network connection at all
I know its not a problem with the box, the packaged software has no problem sending a signal to my lights on a consistent basis, but Ive programmed our entire live set to run through VDMX.

Has anyone else had problems with this device? I did some searching before I bought it and read that USB devices werent supported, but its been unreliable, which can be very stressful come showtime

Hello,

Sorry, I have no experience with the Entec ODE.
