Hi everyone,

I've got a question about the matrix function in CueluxPro. Let me explain my setup.

I've got 5 small matrices made out of 2*4 Octostrips each. In VisualDMX using Matrix Mania I can give each Octostrip it's own color very easily. I'm now thinking of switching to CueluxPro, however, I can't find a similar function. The only thing I can find is the Matrix function explained in this youtube video at 2:00.

It's a nice feature for larger matrix setups, however, in my case its not very useful. Because my matrix is so small, those complex patterns are useless. I want to be able to give each individual pixel (1 Octostrip) it's own color like in Matrix Mania. So, is there anything remotely similar to Matrix Mania in Cuelux Pro?

If not, my next question would be, are you guys dropping support for VisualDMX completely or will I still be able to request new fixture files, get my Duple replaced if there is a hardware problem etc.?

Hello,

At the moment this function isn't implemented in CueluxPro yet but its something we want to create in the future.
If you only want to set a few pixels you can do it using a cuelist for now.

VisualDMX/Canvix is no longer being developed but we still do create personality files for our customers. If your fixture isn't supported yet then please read this and post a request in this section of the forum. If there's a problem with hardware then we can repair it (if possible). There might be some stock left at distributers but there won't be any new batch made.

Thanks for the fast response! I will be sticking with VisualDMX until the feature is released then.
