Shure as hell, yes!
But that doesn't save you from disaster either.
After upgrading to v1.3.69 my movingheads did not work. They were missing from the patch and the groups.
So instead of warning me that some fixtures are not recognized, they were silently ditched out of the config.
Which I did not notice right away. When I did, I tried to add them manually, only to find out they were missing out of the personalities list. I did have a copy of them in the user list, but because they where relabeled in the config they did not show up in groups.
So I reverted back to 3.65, still missing. Reverted to an older configuration, still missing.
When I looked in the showtec.xml in the program files folder the phantom led 75 beam was still there !

Afer few hours of cursing, a brainwave, maybe its in the common files!
And yes, somehow1.3.69 replaced the common showtec personalities with an older version.
Replaced file with recent version. Fixture shows up in fixturelist, but not in latest config.
Then made an import action fixtures, from an older version, finally fixtures show up, also in groups, hurray!
(amazing how much time clp seems to spend on loading a config, while saving happens in an instant)

Now half of my playbacks are greyed out, guess I'll have to spend some time to fetch these back!

On the bright side, although not mentioned in the change log, no dll problems installing 1.3.69 on win7.

Maarten,

ok, I have found it - well hidden.

I have added an USB soundcard and disabled the soundcard, which is on the computer board.

Now I have a display like this:

Which one is the right ?

Please notice, that I have actually only one installed.

By the way: Where can I store pictures, which I want to refer in this forum ?

Regards
Axel

The list is for selecting an audio input. Please select a row that has 'Inputs'.

Yes, of course, but the list is not actual, because most of the lines doesn't exist any more.

Getting a few issues, not sure if related to the last update as I hadn't used the last couple of updates in production.

Problems like.

 - You flip to the patch screen and when you back to status the fixtures will be gone. Then try the fixture/group toggles at the top left and they're non responsive. It doesn't add or remove these panels. You close the software and it brings them back upon reopen.

- Intermittent full crashes.

- Cues acts like they're running but don't affect the fixture. We had some cues running and they were playing but the fixture wasn't doing what it said. If we manually brought up the fixture in the programmer and the light responds.

I'm concerned this package is still not reliable to use in a live environment.
