I'm using ArtNet to control a CueCore and would like to use Universe A to output the lighting data and Universe B for control (such as starting/stop recording). The output is 1 DMX universe.

I would expect either to be able to select a universe and channel or perhaps set the channel to 513 but the first is not possible and the latter does nothing. Is there a way to accomplish this?

I can see the output from the computer coming in correctly on UniverseB in the monitor.

Edit: I should mention that setting the trigger to UniverseB i can get it working. However i don't have any control of what channel does what.

thanks

hi,

This is possible. The CueCore can only 'listen' to a band of 50 art net-channels wide. By default this band starts at channel 1 (Universe A). In the settings page you can change the 'DMX Input Address' to 513 (Universe B). Now you can use channels 1-50 on Universe B for triggering actions.

Meanwhile you can still have a ArtNet to DMX conversion on Universe A.
