When I use the custom map for the APC on 1.3.96 none of the bottom faders work with the exception of the Master on the far right, the Small buttons above the faders were also supposed to be flash buttons for those scenes and they don't work, they do however indicate what bank I am on, there is no function when I press them to use as flash.

Thanks!

i think you saved your previous custom midifile in the factory folder instead of the user folder so it gets erased when you updated cuelux.
Just download again the midimap file and save it in the user folder, then in the midimap list of cuelux you will find your midi controller name with [user] in front of it, and this way it won't be erase with the next update.

I had the custom map in the user folder and also had the [user] map selected, when I use the custom map I cannot move the playback faders, as soon as I switch to the factory map it works but none of the custom mapping is available. When I switch back to 1.3.94 everything works flawlessly. I have also tested this on 2 different Macs.

Thanks!

Our long standing customer Rainer from FEIMEX GmbH has created a customized Version of our Akai APCmini MIDI-Map (see attachment) for his DJ-Friends.
"The Buttons over the Faders (in your solution GO-Buttons) are now Flash-Buttons. They always use the Fader with "on-Fader-start“ so this was a wish.
And I used there LED-Feedback to let me see in which Fader-Bank I am."

Now you can use Cuelux in Background of your DJ-Software and always have a Overview of the Light-Show.

Thanks Rainer for sharing  :)

Greetings Zoe

How to assign / create flash function for the 64 buttons above the go / flash buttons ?
Or better, how to create individual flash functions for each of the 64 button ( instead off go functions )
I need instant release / off !
Thanks and best regards
Klaus

Myles,
I get your mail, sorry for the delay i still have to get a look into it.
Klaus
To directly get flash buttons from your midi controller you can just change in the midi map file the key word " ButtonSecundair" to "ButtonPrimair" for each of the 64 buttons of your midi controller.
you can find the detail here:
