I'm looking for a simple dmx controller, it should control my (limited) mobile lightshow. Cuety is a very strong candidate, so I wanted to try the simulator from the website.
I installed the Mac OS simulator and when I try to start it, I get following error message: (“programmer-osx” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.)

Any ideas?

My MacBook = MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014), Processor 2,8 GHz Intel Core i7, OS X Yosemite 10.10.4 (14E46)

Thx Marco,

Succes, it was just a matter of privacy settings. The simulator is up and running!

Do I need to connect the LPU-1 before the simulator becomes usable? If so, not much of a simulator, right?

The LPU needs to be connected in order to make a patch and create cues.

The OSX software is an exact 'copy' of the app that runs on iOS.
