Has anyone tried to install visualtouch on Xubuntu? I managed to install the program, but it does not seem to connect to the server. although I can connect to the core via the browser.

by the way, when I connect it to my mac, it works like a charm.

FYI: netcat -u -z -v 192.168.1.0 16945

returns:

Connection to 192.168.1.10 16845 port [udp/*] succeeded!

the vManager works fine as well.

All I can say that we have it running on 'normal' Ubuntu 14.04. Unfortunately, we have not tried it on xubuntu.

cheers,

Tried Linux Mint and Ubuntu as well. First it needs "libgd2-xpm". After installing it manually, the program does start, but doesn't work. Exactly the same problems as on xubuntu.
