Hi,Can anyone tell me if the B-Station can be used in a network with the Cuety LPU-1.
I know it can be used with Cuecore and Cueluxpro.
I will have a basic House lighting system set up with 26 Elation LED Colour Pendant Fixtures.
Most of the time the fixtures will be simply at a level in a warm colour for audience lighting with simple states up and down with fade times.
Hence why I'm thinking the B-Station as a simple control for different operators in  with each different show to control the house lights.
As they are RGBW Fixtures I'd also like to be able to programme some different colours or chases even for some events, so I'd like that available and to have it on a laptop as part of the set up rather than an ipad or tablet.
So could I have a system set up as follows:
Touchscreen Laptop, Network switch or wireless router, Cuety -LPU-1 and a B-Station or should I go with
Touchscreen Laptop,Network switch or wireless router, CueluxPro and a B-Station.
Or do I have to get cuecore / cueluxpro to use a B-Station?
Any advice on this wouldbe much appreciated.
Regards,
Mick Doyle

Hello Mick Doyle,

The LPU-1 can only be programed and controlled with Cuety. The LPU-2 has an API which allows you to control it with a B-Station.

Depending on what you are doing the B-Station may be all you need. It has an DMX output of its own. And it is capable of creating some effects as well.

Some things to consider:
The B-Station can manage 32 fixtures. It has 6 cuelists. It has show control which can be used to program its behavior. And it has an API. A limited amount of supported fixtures. (RGBW is supported)
The LPU-1 and LPU-2 can manage 64 fixtures. They have 64 playbacks. A wide range of supported fixtures. They do NOT have show control. The LPU-2 has an API, the LPU-1 does not.

Please note that we do recommend a desktop / laptop with at least a full HD screen if you are going to run Cuety on it.

Best regards,
Guido
