New Universe settings, your attention please

As of release 1.45 there is an additional screen in the Fixture Configuration. This screen (accesible via the little globe button) allows you to change the settings for universes and DMX hardware.

These settings allow you to add and remove universes and patch them to (multiple) DMX boxes or, in the future, Art-Net.

The options have been requested by users working with multiple boxes so that they can easily change the the universe-to-dmx_output patch.

Special attention for this screen is required in the case of the VisualDMX system is not controlling the fixtures properly; it is often found that this is caused by a universe not being patched to any of the DMX Output boxes.

Vanaf release 1.45 is de Fixture Configuration uitgebreid met een extra scherm. Dit scherm (bereikbaar dmv. het kleine wereldbol knopje) stelt u in staat instellingen te wijzigigen voor de Universes en DMX hardware.

Met deze instellingen kunt u universes toevoegen en verwijderen, alsmede ze verbinden aan DMX kastjes en, in de toekomst, Art-Net.

Dit scherm is gemaakt voor VisualDMX gebruikers met meerdere DMX kastjes zodat ze gemakkelijk de universes aan de verschillende kastjes kunen 'patchen'.

Wij adviseren speciale aandacht voor aan dit scherm te schenken indien het VisualDMX systeem de aangesloten fixtures totaal niet correct aanstuurt. Ervaring leert dat dit vaak het gevolg is van een of meerdere kastjes die niet zijn gepatched aan een universe.
