Hi,

You can create a chase manually, use the wizard to create a chase or use a dim FX.

Manual:
Record a cuelist by manually creating a cuelist, and setting it to chase.
This is explained in detail in chapter 7  section 2 of the Cuelux manual.
To set it to chase is explained in Chapter 7 section 3 of the Cuelux manual.

Wizard:
Use the wizard to create a chase for you, and assign it to a playback. The wizard can be found in the Cue menu (button on the right)
Click on Wizard > Select Chase > add the fixtures you want in the chase > Next > Choose the parameters for your chase > Finish
More on the wizard is in chapter 7 section 5 of the Cuelux manual.

Next go to the Play menu (right under the Cue button) and assign the chase to a Playback using the Assign button on the right.
More on assigning is in chapter 5 section 1 of the Cuelux manual.

FX:
Select the fixtures you want in the chase either via the Group menu, the Patch menu or the home screen (Close the current menu by pressing the button a second time)
Above the DIMM fader, select FX > Select an effect type (Sinus, Step, Ramp) > set the size (which in this case is intensity of your effect) > set the Phase (how the effect is spread over your fixtures) > record it to a playback and you're done!

Greetings,
Bootsy
