I have both USB and RS232 hardware box's. The usb box has worked fine with the 5 Star fixtures and smaller effects. When I cam to use it with some Coema ISPOT 575s that have a high demand on DMX channels I had some big issues, if the fixtures were set to anything but channel 1 then they became very very slow and iratic and lost time with each other, in most cases they hardly moved! I tried everything to get them to go ( different cables, different PC's etc.. and discovered it was the controller, after swapping back to the RS232 version all was fine. Any ideas?

Hi Simon,

Could you post or email me the specs of your computer system and the version number of VisualDMX you are using?

Sorry for late reply.

At the time I tried the latest version (Nov 2004) and rolled back to the previous.

It was run on a couple of computer systems, an Intel Pentium 4 2ghz with 512mb Ram and an AMD Athlon 2.5ghz with 512 MB. Neither made any differnce, but as I said when running on the serial box it all ran ok.
