Can a Bstation trigger cues on a specific time, date, year?

Hello Guido,

The B-Station does not have a built in clock. Which prevents it from triggering a cue on a specific time and date on its own.

However the B-Station can be triggered using UDP or OSC messages. If you have a device which does have a clock and is able to send UDP or OSC messages. You can trigger a cue in the B-Station using a UDP or OSC message.

I hope this helps you.

Best regards,
Guido

Hey Guido,

Thanks for this workaround but will this be a feature in a upcoming update?

Hello Guido,

Unfortunately adding a clock would require more then just a firmware update.

The B-Station hardware does not have a battery / capacitor for a real time clock. This is a requirement for the real time clock to work. Without a battery / capacitor the smallest amount of time where to power goes off will result in a reset of the clock. This would make the clock very unreliable.

Best regards,
Guido
