RDM splitter killing RDM

So....
Connecting directly to lamp with a DMXcat tester/RDM controller,  RDM works well, lamps talk to DMXcat.

Connecting via RDM Splitter, RDM no worky.
No contact. Anything I missed?
Same cables, same everything.

Hi,

That is strange, I haven't heard of that happening before.
Is the DMX working via the splitter? Can you describe what the LED on the splitter does?
