Hi,

in CueluxPro I can program matrix effects like rainbow, which work for example over 16 RGB fixtures.

Is it possible to store such an effect in a cuecore, so that the effect can run standallowne without a computer connected ?

Regards

Axel

Hi Axel,

It kind of depends on the effect, but it should be possible. Record an effect to a playback first.
Now you can try to dump the playback onto the CueCore.
  • Make sure the playback is running to prevent recording a fade in or black frame at the beginning.
  • Now press 'Dump'
  • Press the playback button of the playback you want to dump
  • Type the number of the track you want to dump to in the CueCore
  • Press enter and follow the menu that pops up.
Please note that for CueluxPro to be able to calculate the right time to run the recording, only one effect can be present in the playback.
Goodluck!

Greetings,
Bootsy

Hi Bootsy,

after pressing "DUMP", the Playback fader and 1 for the track I have in the window:

DUMP PF1.3 1

...but no menu pops up.

Hi Axel,

Assuming you pressed the return/enter key...

Are you sure you are mastering the CueCore? This is required for the process. You can set this up in Patch -> Universe and double click the 'Outlet' part of the universe. You can map a universe to an output of the CueCore. After that, try the dumping again.

Goodluck!

Greetings,
Bootsy
