Hello,
tomorrow i will get my new Iphone 4 and the first thing..okay maybe the second thing i will do is to control my dmx lights with the Iphone... :D so i´ve looked how to manage it but i read that there is only a possibility to manage the playback buttons and the dip-switches... Are there any plans to upgrade new features like RGB-controlling or PAN/TILT or only simple faders to controll the lights?
it'll be a nice feature 8)

greetings Pascal

Hi Pascal,

It would be a nice feature to control the RGB and pan/tilt with your iPhone.
At this point we do not have plans of changing the Cuelux remote.

Good luck with your new iPhone :)

I have made an Ad-Hoc network from my Macbook pro for use with Cuelux. I am unable to get the Cuelux remote to load correctly on the iphone without direct WiFi access. When i load the cuelux remote over the ad-hoc, none of the buttons load. Also, am I able to use "fader start" enabled cues from the remote.

Note: I have written this post for a friend via his (Thomas)  account. He does not speak English, but rather Deutsch. He would greatly appreciate a reply in Deutsch so that he can start learning the program on his own now that he has seen Deutsch speakers on the forum. Much thanks! ;D

Hi Thomas,

I am sorry but I can not answer your post in German, since my German is not so good.
Have you tried the tutorial shown in this topic?

Bart

Have you actually assigned any cuelist to a playback BUTTON? The Iphone remote displays the playback buttons, not the playback faders! You can check - and change - this by opening the PLAY menu, and click on GO BUTTONS (top-right of the window).

Just tried it on a 4s and its working fine.
Double check if the Cuelux computer & 4s are using the same network range.

The Cuelux Remote is a web-based application. You can enable this in the cuelux settings and connect with a browser. Correct me if i'm wrong.

Boyd you are correct!

I had already answered this for Ray last week:

Hi Ray

Re: your "p.s." :  The Cuelux remote is not an App.

In Cuelux you go to Options / Remote / tick "enable remote" then browse to the address you see on your phone!!

Hope that helps  :)
