Dear all
I would like to backup my Cuelux show on Cuety LPU-1.
If I import the File to Cuety, the patches are available, but there's no Playbacks.
Are there any settings to check, or some kind auf playback features that not work with cuety?

Hi,

I would have to check, but I think this is because Cuelux and Cuety are very different. My guess is that only the patch can be imported, not the actual show.

Bootsy

Hi
Below the Text from Cuety Manual:
Importing from Cuelux
It is possible to import a show file made in Cuelux, another lighting software
package made by Visual Productions. After copying the Cuelux show file to the
iPad using iTunes it will become visible in the show file listing. The Cuelux
show files remain read-only. Opening this file will import the patch and some
playback settings. The cues, however, will not be imported as Cuelux saves this
information in different style.

In my mind it should be possible?

Hi,

So it says that no cues will be imported, only some playback settings. Did you check the playback settings? ("Properties")
As it will not import any cues, a playback with different, imported settings will look the same as a normal empty playback I think.

Hi,
thanks, i misinterpreted the text in the manual. Playback settings, not Playbacks.
Is there a solution from Visual Productions for a backup solution if there is a problem with the PC or the Cuecable?
I wanted to copy the Cueleux Show File to Cuety and if there is a problem I play from Cuety.

Hi,

We do have backup solutions, but that is using the CueCore2/QuadCore.

For Cuelux + Cuety, I think it is best to just program some basic things in the LPU/Cuety.

Bootsy
