Hi,

I use cuelux 0.31b4 on a MacBook Pro in windowed mode at 1024x768. Today I got my 17" Touchscreen, hooked it up as a second display  (not mirrored mode, this is of no use for me), made it the main screen an started up cuelux. I switched resolution in cuelux to 1280x1024, everything still fine. Then I went fullscreen. What happened is that cuelux disappeared completely leaving me with a spinning ball, so while it did not crash was not responsive anymore.

Any ideas?

Thanks a lot,

Ben

Hi Ben,

In Mac OSX, what resolution have you set for the external monitor?

Hi,

A small update to the problem: I have found some kind of workaround. Without having the external monitor connected i switched to fullscreen and exited. Then with the external monitor connected and made the main monitor restarted cuelux and voila there is it on fullscreen. However, this is not a very optimal solution but works for the moment...

Best,

Ben

Just a few ideas:

LG L1510SF
iiyama T1730R

I would not go for the LG L1730SFK; I have bad experiences with this model.

good luck!

did anybody try the iiyama Pro Lite T2250MTS-1? it looks it has a different technology then the recommended ones. Now supporting multitouch. Looks like a great display for only about 220€ in switzerland.

no. I can move the mouse to the other screen on a mac. but it doesn't help as the second screen gets black.

BTW: I received today my 22" faytech screen. Button touches work fine (after a recalibration with pressing a little bit to high on the points I should touch). But to slide a fader a have to press on the screen pretty hard... (using it on a Mac)

Cheers

@ Raystream
Full-screen and multiple monitors is not a good combination in Cuelux, on any platform I believe.

@ Petr
Would you recommend this touch screen? (So far i haven't found a touch screen with decent Mac OSX drivers.)
