Hi, I've got a Cuety LPU-2 and I need to control it over the internet.

It simply change the color of 4 lights on the top of a building and it's very tricky to reach it on a wifi network. The person that must control the Cuety is not in that building, so I am seraching for a solution to reach it over the internet.

Is there any native function that does this thing?

Which port does the communication between app and Cuety use?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Are you looking to program the LPU-2 over the internet, or just triggering existing playbacks?

Both can be done using a VPN, but programming is a bit more tricky. The discovery protocol of the Cuety app and LPU use broadcast messages, most VPN setup do not support these.
If you manage to setup a VPN that get your LPU and Cuety-running-device on the same network range, and transmitting broadcast, everything should work.

If programming is not required, any VPN that allows unicast to the LPU will enable you to use the API. The API commands for TCP/UDP/OSC/HTTP are all listed in the appendix of the user manual. You could use an app (like our Kiosc) to make a user interface that sends API commands to the LPU-2, giving you playback control.

Greetings,
Bootsy
