I am totally new in programmin cuety. I am looking for a file for Lite puter DX 422. A Dimmer with 5 channels. 4 Normal and one as a shutter.
I hope you can help me with this. If i programm a dimmer over vbuilder i dont see the right features in cuety.
Greetings

I have read your fixture's manual but I did not find any dmx charts. So let's suppose it's 4 channels for each channel dimmer and one last for strobe. (DDDDS).
The main problem is that Cuety do not manage subfixtures ( fixtures that are divided into smaller fixtures) like the one you want to use ( each dimmer is a subfixture). SO even if i create a fixture file for it you will not be able to patch it un cuety.
The good news is that there is a turn around! ;D
In the patch screen of cuety select 3 empty spaces and in the library select "generic" manufacturer and then "Dimmer 01x " in the model list. Then select 1 empty space and in the 'generic" folder select "fazer", set the "fazer adresse to your fixture address + 3 :exemple if your fixture address is 1 set the fazer to 4.
So now you have 4 fixtures in cuety, each once for each dimmer channel of your fixture and on the last one ( the fazer) you can control the strobe function from the custom fader.
I hope this will help you,
Enjoy ;)

Thank you very much for such a quick response.
As I understood , for my dimmer with 5Channels(there is no dmx chart there) it will be 4 empty spaces ,then with dimmer01x and one with „fazer“. Then the adress should be fixture adress +4 . My dimmer starts with 73. so fazer to 77.
I will try to realize this workaround.

Not exactly... ;D
so your dimmer starts at 73.
1st space "dimmer01X": address 73
2nd space "dimmer01X": address 74
3rd space "dimmer01X": address 75
4th space "fazer": address 76
This way it should work!
Enjoy ;)
