Hi everyone,

I'm quite new to Cuety but i'm working on a artproject with a cube with 12 lightpanels on the ceiling.

I'm using dmx rgb controller to dim each panel. Using only the RG channels (due to max power per RGB channel).

So starting at DMX channel 1 = panel 1
channel 2 = panel 2
channel 3 = empty
channel 4 = panel 3
etc

I was trying to make a fixture in Builder, but was only able to add one dimmer to the fixture and i need 12 dimmers.
I'm i thinking the wrong way?

The use of one fixture will save me fixtures (instead of 12 seperate dimmers) and the use of the FX editor (if that works in that way.)

Hi,
This looks like a cool project. Sadly Cuety do not manage subfixtures ( putting all your panels into 1 fixture). SO you will have to create one fixture file for one panel and then patch 12 of them.
But this will not be an issue for using the fx generator if you use the dimmer channel to control the panels.
I hope this will help,
Enjoy ;)

Just found this part in the manual when i was seeking for something else.

I will keep it with the generic dimmer and patch 12 of them.

Thanks!
