Hello there,
i'd like to buy a fully operational midi controller. to connect with Cuelux that runs on a macbook pro 2012 or macbook pro m1 max 2021 . Is there anything you'd reccomend for an under 500 euros budget? What about Behringer X-Touch Compact or Behringer X-Touch (not Compact)?
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
the choice of a midi controller may depends on a lots of things, like the size and weight if you will have to move it often or the features of the software that you would really need top access.
The behringer X-touch are great because they propose motorized faders for a accessible prize.
IN my mind the midi controller fitting the best Cuelux software is the Elation midicon2, but it's a little bite over your budget.
IN the end i think the best one is the akai apc mini. It's small and light, but you can access 8 faders + global fader, and direct access to 64 buttons. And it's cheap.
So i hope you will be able to make you choice with those informations,
