Can cuelux run with an AMD processor?

I am looking for a new PC and I was wondering if cuelux is compatible with AMD processors as the manual only says Pentium. Anybody use it with an AMD? Thanks

Hi,

Both Intel and AMD run Cuelux fine. Starting from release 1.5.xx you will need a 64 bit CPU, but if you buy anything new that should definitely not be an issue.
I run an  AMD Ryzen 3900X, but that is mainly because compiling software goes a lot faster with more cores. For Cuelux you are more than fine with a 4+ core CPU.
Perhaps a Ryzen 3600?
