Hy, I'm french

I updated my computer ubuntu 16.04 to 20.04
and my cuelux 1.3.57 to 1.6.6, but now the cuelux works very bad and crash. I can no longer use the software now, and I have a big event on August 16.
Please can you help me

Hi Olivier,

Can you make a backup of the Visual Productions folder, and sent that to the support email?
After you made the backup, can you move the original folder away from its location? This will do sort of a factory default of Cuelux. After that you can copy the things you need back in there to run your showfile (The showfile itself and any custom personalities) and see if that works better.

Let me know how it goes.

Hi,

I copied and deleted the current cuelux folder,
I restarted this one, it actually recreated it, but it didn't change the symptoms.

- still not access to all resolutions
- FX bar in very light gray
- as soon as I start to navigate in the cue / cuelist, the screen freezes, then after a few seconds the application quits...

I can no longer use the software,

An idea ?

Hi Oliver,

Does the UI look different than usual? If so, can you share a screenshot?
I am not sure what is happening, but perhaps the log file can tell us more. It should be in the Cuelux/logs folder (inside the Visual Productions folder) Can you share the latest file?

Sorry for the late reply, I m currently in a no network area. (I m not at home ). I tried to uninstall cuelux, it didn’t work better, with the previous version no more ….

Thank you for the screenshots I am sure it will help our dev team to understand what is going on.
They are in vacations for now, but they will have a look at your problems, when they will be back next week.
