Maybe not a priority-point, but is it maybe possible to make something to assign faders/buttons on a more advanced joystick?

It would be really cool to assign a strobe button to make light-controlling more easier :D

This is my joystick:

Could you please give me a hint which joysticks are compatible with cuelux?

I want to buy one this week before cuelux arrives.

Thank you

This is probably still on Maartens todo-list.. For now on, only position is compatible with a joystick..

For the mac users there is a solution:

use either usboverdrive: http://www.usboverdrive.com/USBOverdrive/News.html
or
gamepadcompanien: http://www.carvware.com/gamepadcompanion.html

and you should be able to map any button on the joystick to a keykombination. the issue is: I have so far only found keyboard shorcuts to:
play /stop playback button
falsh / play / stop playback fader

what shortcuts are available you find here:
http://www.visualproductions.nl/forum/index.php?topic=1048.msg2637#msg2637

Not sure if something similar exists for pc
