Hi,
I was wondering because the manual couldn't help me any further.

Is there an way that the CueCore2 provides me the actual status of his plackbacks and tracks via a TCP Connection?
so in a way that I can see via TCP message which playbacks and tracks are active?

Thank you in advance.

Br. Koen.

The cuecore 2 cannot send TCP messages.
But you can send the track status and active cue information via OSC or UDP.
If you really need TCP messages, then you would need to use a CuCore3 that can send TCP messages.
Enjoy ;)

thanks for the reply.
It's not mandatory to be TCP. If at least the UPD messages are send by a trigger or something, that should already work for me.

does that need some configuration of the CueCore 2?

You can use the show control functions of the CueCore2 to create an playback actionlist and create an action using the cue change trigger and create a task that will send a udp message to the desired ip including a message you decide and the cue number.
If you decide to use some API commands to control the Cuecore, then the cuecore will remind the IP addresse from where he received the commands and will automatically send udp messages to this ip addresse everytime a cue is changing.

Ok. Many thanks.
Just to double check/verify: while I'm using the API commands, the CueCore will only send a udp message when a playback or track is changed?
is it maybe an idea to add this functionality in a new firmware?

Once your ip address is recorded in the 'client' database of the cuecore, by sending one API command to it (it can store up to 4 clients IP) the cuecore will automatically send feedback messages top this IP when a playback is activated or deactivated or when it goes to a cue.
you can find all those informations on page 126 of the Cuecore2's manual.
Enjoy ;)

Julien Levaufre,

thanks for the verification.
I'll have enough information for now.

When I face a new issue I'll let you know.
