Hi,

I think I need need some help here with the DMX functionality of the CueCore2.

I'm sending tcp commands according the API in the documentation to set a DMX output directly like core-dmx-499=125.
But the Cuecore2 is not responding as I aspect.
The precedence is set to LTP and not HTP.,
And what I see on the CueCore2 is that the lowest possible DMX value he can set is 51 even when I send value 10 it.
What I expect is that when the playback setting is on LTP that the tcp command should set on the DMX.

Am I doing something wrong? or is the CueCore2 not responding as it should?

Hello,

The LTP/HTP setting you use on the playback only applies for merging playbacks together.
When you have playbacks running and ask the show control to set a DMX value then the merging between the playback and the show control will always be HTP.

This is why you were not having the result you expected.

I hope this will help you,
Enjoy :)

ah ok So it would be better not to start a playback, but just set the DMX value directly then.

thank you for the info. I'll give it a try a.s.a.p. and I'll let you know the outcome of the test  ;)

if you want to control single channels, then yes it's easier to use the direct control of DMX channels.

The tracks are really useful for dynamics DMX scenes.

Enjoy ;)
