Hey gus,

since the last iOS Update of Kiosc I have huge connection issues.
Also can‘t store the editor file, Kiosc crashes when connecting to editor.
In the same Environment, no issue with Android.

Anybody else has that issue???

With their last iOS update Apple change their requirements to be able to use the network connection.
We updated the KIOSC version to fit those new requirements and fix those problems in the last release on the Appstore : 1.15.13

Actually, in my case, the 1.15.13 caused the problems. We could see that the update was done Friday, and since then we lost control via iPad.
I´m gonna try setup a backup pc running windows with the kiosc windows version to at least have a local backup solution.

Would it be a problem, to have Kiosc Editor and Cuelux Pro running on the same PC? I did not have a laptop with me at the weekend when we tried to troubleshoot,
so we installed Kiosc Editor on the Control PC where Cuelux Pro is running. But everytime we connect with iOS App to the Editor, to catch the file, as the iOS Kiosc lost it, the app crashes when connecting.

OK, could you give me more details about the versions of all the products you are using,

We made some tests here and we have not been able to reproduce your problem.
We tested with windows 10 and windows 11 and with different versions of Ipad and IOs.

With previous version of Kiosc editor you may have some problems running it at the same time than cuelux pro.
To avoid any problem be sure to run the 1,15,13 kiosc editor version.

I just tried running Editor in 1.15.13 on my windows 11 laptop joined in my network, which is all 2.o.0.xxx and when I try to connect with the iPad Kiosc App, it crashes.
I made some videos, maybe I upload them later here.
Trying now to bring in a preconfigured windows pc with Kiosc App installed and see if I can use this as a backup.

I feel like you only need the remote connection to transfer the show file from the editor to the to Ipad.
If I am right, note that you can use a cable to connect the ipad to your computer and then use the finder on MacOs or Itunes on Windows.

Backup with Windows PC local in the rack works fine.

We will add an android tablet to the installation, so we hopefully don´t go in this trap again. One out of 3 options should always work.

I´ll send the videos, though they only show a crahsing app when connecting to an editor...
My colleauge, how helped me setting up and programming the system, joined me yesterday and tried it with his Kiosc app on the iPhone, which he had used many times there...same same

OK, glad to know that you find a way to get it working.
When the app crashed, did you click on 'send the crash report to apple"'?
If yes, then the Kiosc developers will be able to get the crash informations and look at it.
