Hello,

today I deployed a TimeCore im our theatre. I can send an OSC message to start, set and stop timecode. But for different reasons I want to set and start the timecode with just one OSC message.

Via OSC it is possible to send an argument alongside (e.g. the inbuild "/tc/set" uses that), but how can I make use of that argument in an user defined action (to first set and then start the timecode)?

Thanks for you help :)

In an action of the show control you can add up to 8 tasks.
That means that you can have an OSC message that will set the Timecode to the value you want and then start the timecode,

What is not possible, is to use the argument you are sending to set the Timecode to the argument value. That means you cannot do interactive direct control of the Timecode value.

What you can do is to have multiple button setting the Timecode value to specific times.
Or, use the increment/decrement functions to be able to set the TimeCode value you need,
