Hello,

I´m wondering if it is somehow possible to control 160 dimmer channels (LED strips) using LPU-2, while it has only 64 fixtures and it is not possible to add multichannel dimmer as 1 fixture.

The LPU-2 can only manage 64 fixtures as you said and do not manage subfixtures.

The only solution would be to patch some RGB or RGBW fixtures from the generic manufacturer, this way each fixture would allow you to control 3 or 4 dimmer channels.
This would work, but the control of the dimmer channels would be quite tricky.

I hope this will help you,
Enjoy ;)

One way to do this is by using DMX merging, where you connect multiple DMX universes together using a DMX merger. This allows you to control more than 64 channels by assigning some of the channels to a different DMX universe, and then merging the DMX signals together before sending them to the LPU-2.
