Hi everybody. I am a beginner working with Timecore.
I just purchased a Timecore device to run the Beyond laser software's Timeline function and the Resolume Arena software simultaneously.
I've been trying to figure out and figure out how Timecore works for a few days now, but I can't figure out how to connect it.
can someone help me. somehow access my computer with the Teamview app or send me a how-to video.
I will pay a sum for the help
I hope someone can help me
Whatsapp, Viber, Telegram... +84909954321
Thank you very much :)

I will do my best to help you, but I first need to know what kind of timecode protocol you want to use to connect the Timecore to beyond and Resolume?

OK, so what piece of hardware do you plan to use to get the SMPTE signal in your computer?

The Timecore output the SMPTE signal that is an audio signal. To be able to use this audio signal as a Timecode input for beyond and Resolume you need to connect this audio signal to an input in your computer.
My question is then, where do you connect the SMPTE signal coming from the Timecore to the computer?

If you want to use the SMPTE protocol for timecode , yes,
But the Timecore can output art-net and Midi timecode.
I am not sure about Resolume, but beyond can receive those 2 timecode protocols.
By default the Timecore output midi timecode MTC but not Art-net.

To activate the artnet timecode output you need to go in the Timecore web interface.
Just type the IP address of the Timecore in your web browser.
If you do not know just use the Vmanager software, that you can download here:  www.visualproductions.nl/downloads

Once in the Timecore web interface, goo into the setting page and check the art-net output check box.

Now to use this Art-net or Midi timecode in beyond, you can have a look here:
https://wiki.pangolin.com/doku.php?id=beyond:timecode

I am quite sure it works the same for Resolume.

enjoy ;)

If you are in the Timecore web-interface, just go into the settings page, and activate the Art-net Timecode output, by checking the check box to enable it.

Once it's enabled the Timecore will output the Art-net Time code to your computer.

You will only have to set Beyond and Resolume to receive.
Please check the manuals or forums of those software to know how to configure them to use Art-net timecode.

you have 2 problems in your Timecore setting,
- the input of the timecode for the Timecore should be internal, for now you have selected art-net.
- all the things you put in the show control are useless for your use, and you are now missing the button actions that would allow you to control the timecode with the front buttons of the Timecore.

To solve all those problems, Go in Vmanager and click on Factory default, once the Timecore had reboot, you can test the front buttons and the TImecode should be displayed on the Timecore.
Now, go in the web interface of the Timecore , go into the setting tab, and activate the Art-net output.

Now you should be able to get your timecode in Beyond.

It's great I've connected and controlled the Beyond. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/dHnyQe4L6NE
but with Resolume, I still can't do it. I send you a video how I do it. Can you take a look and tell me what I did wrong? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1xyG3xVU4gI
You can check out this side of Resolume. is there something necessary and doing it wrong? https://docs.highlandsproduction.com/equipment/graphics-lyrics/resolume-arena/smpte

I am glad to know that you succeeded connecting the Timecore to Beyond.
Now your settings of the Timecore are good so you should not change them.

From what I have been able to read, Resolume do not manage Art-net timecode like Beyond.
So you will have to use SMPTE timecode as, from the document you shared, it is the only timecode signal you can use with Resolume.

You will have to use an audio cable to connect the SMPTE output of the Timecore to the audio input of your computer.
If you do not have an 3 pins XLR audio input for your computer you will need this kind of adaptor: (XLR 3 pin to mini jack)

Good luck ;)
