RDM Splitter troubleshooting

Hi, I am working with the RDM Splitter and 24x Moon Griven DMX LED fixtures. The fixtures are wired in three groups of 8 lights each; so there are three DMX cables coming back to my controller location.

Wired directly to each wire / fixture group in turn, without the RDM Splitter being used, my DMX controller can discover and control each group.

When I use the RDM splitter, the RDM Splitter LED is active for power, blinks to indicate DMX signal, and blinks longer indicating RDM activity, but does not discover any fixtures. I can however control fixtures at their pre-assigned address.

I think I have a similar problem as described in this older post.

Any suggestions on what to try would be appreciated.
